Expected Volume not working on Market Replay

#1

Occasionally when running Market Replay, the Expected Volume indicator will not update the Actual Volume on the chart. This will happen on specific days and will last the entire day. This is something we will not be addressing in NinjaTrader7, as we do not have the time or resources at our disposal to correct. This issue illicits an entire rewrite of the indicator itself and even then, we’re not sure we’ll be able to correct it completely with NinjaTrader7’s current limitations.

However, you should not need to use Expected Volume for market replay. Market replay is a fantastic tool to utilize when trying to develop the muscle memory of placing order and stops. For back testing strategies, it’s far easier and faster to just load historical data and click the chart ahead, one bar at a time. Doing this also requires far less PC resources and preparation time.
