Here is a step by step process to set up your first trailing stop ATM strategy for the APEX Sniper system.

You almost have it correct. Step 3 and Step 4 For Stop Loss. You can not use the same number for Stop Loss. Your ATM will close out both trades when the 1st contract hits is take profit. As shown, both contracts will take profit at 10 tick. Correct way is the 2nd contract to be 1 tick different then the first for the Stop Loss number.

#3

Should the 2nd Stop Loss be +1, or should it be -1 the original SL, or does it matter?

#4

In your example for Initial Stop Loss. One can be 20 ticks and the 2nd can be 21 ticks. They need to be 1 tick apart. Otherwise, when one takes profit, they both take profit. Now they can also be moved seperately.

#5

Can you screen shot what you mean? I want 1 contract to take profit and close at 10 ticks. The second one to automatically move to break even at the same time but trail 15 ticks ( 5 steps at a time) during a possible trend continuation.

#6

Here is a ATM with 2 contracts. The first takes profit at 10 ticks. The 2nd moves to BE at 10 ticks of movement. When 15 ticks in movement, the stop stays at BE–BUT now for every 5 additional ticks of movement, the stop will move up 5 ticks. Thus remaining 15 ticks behind. Hope that is what you are looking for. https://www.screencast.com/t/0tNd2qjcb
