Volume Analysis For Forex Using Futures Data

#1

I have a question about using futures data for volume analysis in Ninja Trader.

If you are trading AUD/JPY would you use 6A or 6J for the input series? I have tried both and neither seem to be look correct. Too much volume for the time of day and not enough when the session is in full force. For the EUR/USD I use 6E and for the USD/CAD I use 6C and they seem to be fine but the exotic currencies I am not sure. Both apply. I really like identifying magnet prices this way but need the right input series.

Thanks for the help.

Dont use either individually. Use our expected volume indicator it auto pulls the data for volume on forex from the futures markets on all combinations now of aud gbp eur cad chf jpy nzd usd. And uses the right formula for pulling the volume on the cross pairs like aud jpy

Thanks, I was just watching one of your volume analysis videos on checking magnet prices and did not even think of using the expected volume indicator for that too.
