This morning was a very good trading morning to say the least. A lot of the traders in the Elite Room were catching these long runs the markets were providing. I to was in the same trades but not catching as many ticks due to my very conservative ATM strategy. I netted 39 ticks this morning with no losing trades.Cant complain there. I was seeing other traders netting upwards of 100+ easily. Lori & Mark mentioned to me that maybe it was a little too conservative. So I decided to go into replay and mess around with my ATM. While still keeping it conservative I was able to drastically improve this mornings performance taking the same trades. From 39 ticks to 114 is a phenomenal difference to me. now will this work with days that don’t trend as long like today? I’ll have to back test this ATM for the previous days this month.
