I was wondering about an options price movement in relation to its ITM or OTM'ness (heh...jargon). That is, does a binary that goes from 3 points OTM to 3 points ITM increase in value more, in percentage terms, than one that goes from 10 points OTM to 4 points OTM (both six point moves)? I would think that there is a sweet spot somewhere.
I've been having pretty good results getting into slightly (2 - 3 points) OTM 2 hour binaries, then getting out slightly ITM. It's not 1:1, but it's pretty consistent. The problem is that finding options 2 to 3 points OTM in the direction of the trend can be an issue. I'd have more choices if I didn't limit myself to an area so close to the strike.
Thanks for any thoughts you might share.
