Dude!!! That is spectacular! Nicely done! I am trying very hard to contain the excitement to get to use this stuff! But I am seeing you are still adding refinements as you are testing…I see what looks like an MVP has been added back in! We are all going to tear into this thing like a pack of rabid dogs once it is released!

Thanks for beating the stuffing out of this in testing! It is much appreciated!

#3

That is the complete set right there. Testing is done for me. Now the Beta testers are putting it through the gauntlet. Then pair this with the Alchemy Market Analyzer and watch multiple instruments and target the ones that are ready and BAM!!! Pippage galore. lol

#4

The Alchemy Market Analyzer. This is still getting enhancements.

#5

Hello Greg,

Thanks for sharing this wonderful new system. I don’t want to assume anything, but do you open all the Forex pairs listed in the Alchemy Market Analyzer in NT during the hours they are usually open?

If so, what computing resources are necessary to have all the charts open during their respective trading hours?

May the pips continue to be on your side!

P.S. Are you still considering applications for #TeamPippage?

#6

Hello oldporkchops,

I only open the Alchemy market analyzer with all the pair I trade. When a signal is good then I open the chart.

#7

Hello Greg,

Thanks for your comment. I understand better your trading pattern now.

Based on what you mentioned, you only have the market analyzer open with a long list of currency pairs you usually trade. When all three columns turn either all green or all red, you then open a 3/12/60 chart of that currency pair that turns all green/red. If the chart confirms the all three greens, you buy. If the chart confirms all three reds, you sell.

Have I understood this correctly?

If the chart doesn’t confirm the market analyzer, what do you do then?

#8

to get into a position you will need at least 4 green indicators for a long position and 4 red for a short position. To exit your position you can use the deviation levels as a good place to TP or get out when 3 opposing indicators show up. this will be up to you. https://forum.apexinvesting.com/t/alchemy-apex-trading-system/5360 for the Alchemy rules follow the link above

#9

3 on the Market analyzer but at least 4 in the Alchemy chart for entry.,

#10

If I would like to use the Market Analyzer + the chart, would the 3 on the Market Analyzer chart be:

  1. APEX
  2. Alchemy 60
  3. Trendar Momentum

And the 4th on the chart being the green bars?

Thanks very much for clarifying this, Greg.

#11

you’re almost there when the ALchemy Market Analyzer (AMA for short) is all green go to your Alchemy chart and follow entry rules. the AMA is to grab your attention that it is ready for a set up or is in a set up already.

#12

Okay! That confirms my understanding. That’s what makes it a great system. Just reading your description has piqued my attention.

Don’t mean to rush anyone, but is there a time frame on when it will be formally introduced to the APEX community via a Thursday or Saturday webinar?

#13

We are still making further enhancements on the AMA. Timeframe for release is about 2 weeks or so.

#14

Appreciate the info, Greg. Helps me plan. Better to release a solid product than to hear complaints later. Take all the time you guys need. Thanks very much for sharing this with the APEX community. Your hard work has changed many lives!

#15

i’m humbled.

#16

I truly am richer (dollar wise) and my life outlook is brighter because of you, Darrell and APEX!

And with systems like AMA that makes things chewable and visually so very intuitive, who has excuses not to trade?

#17

Good morning Greg,

Quick question, sorry if it has already been answered, but where do you set your initial stop loss? Trend flip? Trend flip +3? Something other than that?

Thanks, John

#18

Thank you I am humbled.

#19

Hello jcostagliola,

When I enter a trade I initially set it for 15 pips away then use the mvp to trail. However, when 3 indicators go against me I will exit asap and hopefully get out before I get stopped out. like the example below.

I just looked at a chart with the Alchemy strategy loaded. The settings for the continuum bars were 3/12/ 5 minutes. I changed the 5 minutes to 60 minutes (the listed settings for this strategy). The chart looked very impressive! Changing the minutes to 60 looks like it gives great signals. Now I’m waiting for the scanner. I can’t wait to put this to the test. I’ve been having a hard time finding legit entries for the Sharpshooter and Alchemy. I’m hoping the 3/12/60 setting with Alchemy gives me more trading opportunities. The scanner will be a welcome sight as well!
