With the use of the different Skype rooms, the Apex Forum has been virtually forgotten. However, there are still benefits to posting in the Forum.
Skype Advantage over Forum
Posts and questions on Skype have responses in real time from a few hours to just minutes. The Forum is not monitored on a regular basis and could take days/weeks/months for a response or even no response at all.
Forum Advantage over Skype
The information from posts are stored in particular categories for easy access. Good luck trying to easily find a response to a question once a day has passed. Again, a question can be asked for a real time response, but don’t expect a variety of answers at night or the weekend.
Suggestion:
Continue to use Skype for real time discussions. However, any helpful posts should be placed in the Forum for easy access.
