Updating machine ID for Markers Plus

There is a NEW PROCEDURE with Markers Plus to update your MACHINE ID when it changes. You will no longer send the new machine id to the Apex Helpdesk. Updated training videos will be posted soon.

Here are the new procedures that are in place effective immediately .The Help Desk no longer handles machine id changes

The Apex Help Desk only handles billing account questions with the Markers Plus software. All usage and installation questions are handled in the step by step training course and in the Markers Plus Support Skype Room and not in the Help Desk.

As you know, your machine id can change with software or hardware updates, particularly Windows Updates.

NEW PROCEDURE TO UPDATE YOUR NEW MACHINE ID:

Do Not send a ticket to the Apex Helpdesk regarding new machine id’s , this is handled directly through Markers Plus

When you get the error message pop up saying “expired trial” on Markers Plus, you will see a button on that pop up that says “ Send Email” Press this button and an email will be sent directly to Markers Plus and will ping their system alerting them to the new machine id, and they will update it directly. Please allow up to 48 business hours for this process to be complete and your new machine id will be active after a restart.

For any follow up questions after 48 business hours regarding machine id change, do not send a ticket to the Apex Helpdesk but send an email directly to Pablo at Markers Plus: [email protected] . Any emails sent to him must include your Apex username and the email you use on your Apex account so that he can reference your account in their system.

OR

To update your new machine id, send email directly to [email protected] with your cut and pasted machine id. Any emails sent to him must include your Apex username and the email you use on your Apex account so that he can reference your account in their system.

IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE LICENSE:

If you have more than one license you will need to send in both machine id’s that need to be active at this time. If you have two licenses and send a new id, Markers Plus does not know which machine to replace, so you must provide them with both id’s that need to be currently active. So you can by pass using the “ Send Email” button on the pop up and can just send and email directly to [email protected] . Any emails sent to him must include your Apex username and the email you use on your Apex account so that he can reference your account in their system.

****** IF YOUR POP UP MESSAGE SHOWS a dash then your last name after the machine id ie ( -smith) THIS MUST BE INCLUDED IN YOUR COPY AND PASTE IF YOU SEND AN EMAIL DIRECT WITH THE NEW MACHINE ID or else your activation will not process correctly *****
