What was your Trend Catcher Measurement Period for this? Using the standard 8/10/5, the IZSS chart doesn’t show a valid entry unless the TC measurement period is changed from 7 to 15. Or is there some other setting you tuned? For the beginner looking at this can be confusing, so any more info you can provide would be helpful.

Thanks!

TC measurement period was changed from 7 to 15. I also do not use the expected ranges on my chart. I added a 21 EMA. The rest of the settings are as they are set in the template. I have been trading with IZSS since it was first delivered to us, so I tend to add my own style for entries. I use an ATM strategy where I enter with 4 contracts and I scale out at specific profit targets on 3 of the 4 contracts, taking 2 contracts off at 10 ticks/ contract profit and the 1 contract off at 15 ticks of profit and trailing the last contract with the MVP. I do at times amend this strategy based on what key levels (deviation levels, settlement, ICE levels, etc) I see ahead of the price and how attractive those levels look as targets (previous reversals at these levels, etc). As for Add on trades, I will add on for swing entries and I usually hold those and exit with the final contract, but again will amend that decision based on what I see in front that could be drawing the price to it. Add on trades I usually do at 1/2 off my original position size early in the move, and 1/4 of my original position size if the add on comes later in the move (where I may have already taken profit at my first two profit targets).

Great question…Thanks
