5 min Binary Rule

#1

Does the Bar Timer rule pertain only to the Cyan bar or any bar that exceeds 3 minutes?

The rule definitely pertains to the cyan bar; but also if you are looking for an in-between-the-arrows entry in 5-minute binaries, you will want to have momentum. If you have a bar that takes more than 3 minutes to form, this is not momentum. This is a just a bar that may just happen to be going in the right direction for you. Always wait for momentum.

On the trend catcher flips is there an extra filter you use not talked about in the course to cut down your losses?

I’ve been trading the flips and I’m getting around a 50-55 win percentage, with no consistency and am following the rules to a tee.

All i’ve been trading is the flips. Do you get a lot of wins with in-between the flip trades?

I prefer the in between flip trades.

Thank you Darrell.

After i posted the previous question i actually tried something… Take a look:

That first long trade, i would have taken if it wasn’t for seeing the MVP line just flip, i’ve lost plenty annoying trades just like that first long.

The second short i had confidence in because i felt like the apex was going to flip and i’ve noticed when the apex flips it usually gives good trades in the same direction.
