Darrell - I saw this “http://www.financialjuice.com/news/557358/US-to-Sell-410000-Ally-Financial-Shares-Raising-3-Billion.aspx” story cross FinJuice and am a little confused. The gov’t is selling 410k shares of Ally Financial for $7375 per share. When I looked at Ally quotes, common stock was listed at $955 per share, and preferred stock was $27 per share.
Who takes the other side of a trade with an immediate over 600% loss ($955 vs $7375)???
