Hi, I am a trial user and just installed the indicators. I’ve followed the video on the Data Series settings to use in NT, however I get APEX Errors and on YM the bars have gaps and clusters (piled up bars), and on CL I have a blank chart all together. I am using 1500 bars back, Default 24/7, 50/100%, 6 APEX bars all on the current contracts. Any recommendations?
Trader Gal - did you use one of the templates? It looks like you added all of the settings to a regular candle chart.
So you can do one of three things:

In Ninjatrader, open new chart, add your instrument, then in the bottom right of the box, where it says load the following chart template, pick a template (most use the APEX Elite Gold OHLC) ((EASIEST))

If you like the chart setup you have, then follow step one, but load Template APEX Elite Gold Candles. Then go into data series to change the colors the way you want and save that as a template ( right click on chart, Templates->Save As…->whatever you want to name it. ((MORE DIFFICULT))

On the chart you have, you can add all of the indicators that are on the templates, one by one. (((MOST DIFFICULT))
I would recommend step 1. That way you are trading with all the same settings that everyone else in the trade room and forum are using, so if you have questions and need to share a chart, everyone is on the same page. Also, using a template makes sure that all of the settings are correct to make the pattern work correctly.
Lastly, even using a template you may get no pattern showing up. I saw somewhere on here where someone went into the indicator list, then open up APEX pattern and in Parameters #2 change Assume initial pos from Up to DOWN or DOWN to UP (just opposite of what is already there).

It appears by your chart you had 2 instruments added to 1 chart one on a regular candle and 1 with diagnostic bars the conflict was causing the issue
All of the above are perfect solutions. Solution in this case was #1

should work every time so long as connected to the right data feed, active elite account, and valid instrument selected
