I’m wondering because if you use the default 15 on fx pairs it really doesn’t keep you out of chop it’s just the same color as the trend catcher arrow.
Also is the elite trend catcher better on indices?
Better setting for chop filter measurement period setting?

It works on all instruments. Market conditions can change,markets can be seasonal, and volatility can change. 15 was the standard that we were using when we released the Chop Filter. Again, things can change over time. Best thing to do is to choose the instrument you want to trade and do some back testing on it with different settings to see what the best setting is for the current market condition.
