Is there a way that a computer program could be written so that whenever the NY fed temporary springs a purchase, that p3 members could be notified by a tweet?-just an idea-listening to 3/7/13 webinar now-thanks,keith

You can actually setup notification right on their site for temporary. For Permanent we know in advance everyday. Also the page auto refreshes on the temp page every 15 seconds so you can just leave it open.

Is it possible to determine in advance the AMOUNT of Fed purchasing on a given day and if the Fed announces bond purchasing volume for any given day IN ADVANCE of those purchases, has anyone ever tracked to see if they are consistently able to do so? If this type of tracking is available (by Fed or elsewhere), it would help to quantify the level of buying and the related impact.
