Are there any other currency pairs that have a cap like EUR/CHF had and is there any way to tell when a cap is placed on a currency pair without hearing it directly from market news?

No there are not any other fx pairs that have a cap. Nor is this likely to happen again anytime soon as shown how bad of an idea it was. The cap has been there for over 3 years the news was it being removed.
