Okay I know that it has been a long time since my last post on what I am doing with TC and forex. I went to forex so that I could trade with a small amount, about 2,000 and still do TC futures style trades. I was testing setups until I had the money in the ninjatrader brokerage account, and the license bought… Everything was set up as of this week, so started trading with my set up… Now I had all worked out, and I thought that i had a way around using chop filter, I was wrong…simply didn’t work. So, I went back to following the example that I should, testing one instrument back for two months, with chop filter, and tc, finding the setting that works the best for you with two months of data, with all trades taken… I did that, and came up with 7 trend and 15 chop filter on 12 tick USDCAD… THe stats were quite good for the past two months… If anyone want’s those, I will post them up here too. Just let me know.
So, I began today with USDCAD, trading from 8:00 to 11:30… made some points…
This is worth doing!!! USDCAD has been shown to do well over the last two months, specifically trading at this time frame… Just trying to keep an update… Josh
