How are SEES Diagnostic Bar Tick Settings Determined?

Looking at the SEES “3rd or 4th Bar MVP Arrow” cheat sheet, it states that the tick size of the diagnostic bar settings varies by instrument:

10 ticks>> YM, NQ, GC, DX 12 ticks>> TF, CL

How is this determined, and how would it be determined for say NG which has a (Nadex) tick size of 0.001?

When posting this a suggested forum post came up from Darrell Jul’14 that suggests “…backtest like i show in the elite bonus videos on how to set the bar size.”

Anyone have a link to those videos?

Each market ticks differently. Meaning some move faster or further than others . Some need smaller size bars, some need larger. If you have a slower market with huge bars, you will not get many bars and many signals. if you have too small of bars you will get a lot of choppy or a lot of false signals etc. So it requires some backtesting on each particular market. The ones you see listed for SEES have been tested and tried
