At 9am EST Super Mario ( Mario Draghi - ECB President) started speaking. Just like when Yellen speaks (USD)… there could be a fair amount of movement in the Euro. And in this case… the markets didnt really like what he had to say… Pretty much every Euro pair has taken a hit.
Of course, if the market did like what he had to say… it could have just as easily gone up.
Trading into the news is a risk you will have to decide if you want to take when trading directionally. Of course even ICs and Straddles have their own risk as well.
