Hi I just want to ask why we iron condor into news when it is suppose to be an event that moves the market? Also when setting up the legs of the spread, do we set it up one at a time to get a more balanced risk / reward and what if only one leg gets filled. Thank you
you will notice we only use Iron condors on news events that dont have huge impacts on the market or that usually have a history of a retrace after a move, but since an actual news event, may have some good premium built into the pricing. Yes we usually enter both sides at the same time
