On one of the videos it was mentioned that the data feed from Interactive Brokers is not true tick data. Could you elaborate on what is meant by that? Will this cause a detrimental effect on trading futures when using the APEX method?

The data is filtered. You can try it but your charts probably won’t load. Will load super slow and may not be correct due to tick filtering. YOu can trade on IB for the actual trade but you need a true tick data feed - ie CQG via AMP - you can get cqg via amp for free. You may connect to cqg first (for data feed) then IB for trades - or you can just trade direct on IB while connecting to CQG in NT7 for charting.
