Hi,
I’m trying to figure out what market or exchange is nadex using for commodities? More specifically gold & oil. Are they off of CME or NYMEX?
Also, are commodities traded continuously like forex or do they stop at 2:30 and pick back up in the morning?
Thanks.
CME Group owns NYMEX and they distribute the data through Globex
On the scanner go to nadex information and you can click on current underlying. I show the exact markets and symbols for every future market that nadex has a binary or spread derivative for.
Also click on nadex links and there is a link to nadex contract specs where you can find the hours for each market.
Every market has its own hours
FX starts Sunday
Commodities are trade continuously but have varying hours for pit and electronic and for nadex
Nadex usually starts at 6 pm and goes to the pit close on most commodities and indices
All markets close on nadex from 5-6 PM ET
Monday they start at 3 AM on most markets
Tuesday Wed, Thur they start at 6PM on most markets
Expiration times vary
ftse dax 4 pm
es ym nq tf 4:15
cl ng 2:30
HG 1 pm
gc 1:30 pm
si 1:25 pm
etc…
