How effective is the strategy of splitting the bid and ask on spread and binary entries?

Assuming you are referring to the Mark price. You can put it in but unless another trader takes it you won’t get filled. You can see if the market maker takes it but they usually stick to their quoted prices. On Nadex I rarely try to negotiate bid/ask spread. The market will just oscillate and you could get filled though or it may take off and you miss out on the trade.
