I noticed a few weeks on one of your videos that there were binaries that had strikes that were 10 pips wide.
But as I am looking at the strikes right now (1:24 AM CST) it seems that they are now 20 pips wide.
Were the 10 pip wide strikes only for Intraday or Daily binaries and are they only available at certain times?
Or are they even available any more?
Thanks!
Ok figured out. Looks like the 10 pip wide strikes are on the intraday BO’s.
correct 10 pips wide on intradays which start at 8 AM on fx
Realizing that many forex pairs are active well before 8am est, if we wanted to trade a pair at say 6-7am est (traditionally a high volume fx time frame), is there any chance that Nadex might make these 10 pip wide strikes available even an hour or so earlier?
They just added the nighttime binaries so i doubt they are going to add intraday 10 tick wide ones anytime soon. But at least they have nighttime expiration binareis now for you to trade. Really if you look at it you are just asking for 10 ticks wide - so if you crossover the different expiration times you can probably find the strike you are looking for. However, perosnally on fx I trade spreads mostly at night. They offer a lot more edges than binaries.
I just sent this email to [email protected]:
Thank you for the continuous innovations at Nadex. I want to request that the 10 pip Forex spreads that begin at 8am be started earlier in the trading day for FX. Ideally 6am or earlier would coincide with the heaviest Forex trading volume when London and US markets overlap. Thank you for considering.

I agree with you here. Not being able to trade 10 Pip wide strikes during this overlap to me is limiting the potential of a trader.
If their is one thing that I wish we could do with Nadex its being able to pick our own entries/strikes time periods around the clock. But I guess that would be asking to much. But I do agree with you here Alpha!
If you picked your own strike - guess meaning live price up/down like a bucketshop? That would mean its not a contract and therefore not regulated as a binary under CFTC guidelines.
However, asking for 10 pip wide strikes - i would ask for starting as early as possible ie 6pm - but at least by midnight that they start so you can get all the euro/usd hours as well. The more that ask the more they will consider it.
Also I would highlight that nighttime, early early am, and early AM is when part time traders trade so this will add to their volume…
They are an exchange they make money only on fees so they focus on what adds to volume versus just adding various strikes that will not be traded often.
Submit it in the my account message us section in your nadex platform.
Other note:If you want to pick if going up or down it is easy use the spreads they are 10x better anyway if you trade them correctly.
