I would like to suggest that the type font color on the scanner be different for the sell and buy results to differentiate them more clearly when both are selected. Perhaps light shades of red & green would be appropriate. Alternatively, a bold dividing line could be used to separate the buy from the sell choices.

This is a good idea. Once the Hedge Scanner tab is made live we can look at implementing this right now you may buy a spread to hedge a short underling and they are on the same line. But this is a good idea and we will definitely keep it in mind for a future implementation.
If you want buy or sell you can use the buy or sell button above in the filter section as well and this will immediately only show you the buy or sell options.
