Technology to work your desktop from a remote location

I remember Darrell talking about technology that allows one to to remotely control their desktop. Does anyone know what t hat technology was?

Try Teamviewer . I use it almost every day. Works great on a laptop or even on your phone (at least on android).

SplashTop is great too! It costs $16.00 a year and you you can also hear sound, remote print and file transfer. Teamviewer is free, but only transmits video.

Not true on the sound. TeamViewer delivers sound just fine, at least on Windows and Android (don’t have an Apple product to test with). And as was mentioned is free for non-commercial use.

I confirmed what gcnish posted about the audio with Teamviewer. I think I will try it again, since it is free. I could not get audio when I used it before?
