Can someone please explain the difference? The the total number is always different. Thanks
volume up down indicator makes the volume green when the bar closes up and the bar red when the bar closes down
not sure what you mean by total volume?
“Total Volume” indicator? There’s VOL and VolumeUpDown. They are the same except as explained by Darrell and by the indicator label :
“Variation of the VOL (Volume) indicator that colors the volume histogram different if the current bar is up or down bar”
[quote=darrell]volume up down indicator makes the volume green when the bar closes up and the bar red when the bar closes down

sorry, i meant to ask what the difference is in regards to the volume up/down indicator number and total volume number. for example the total volume may read 8000k but on the up/down 6000k
They don’t read differently.

mine is…any setting i may have different?
I keep trying to attach a screen shot but says it’s exceeded max. Where yours says 1127 in blue and green mine currently has 1278 in blue and 1975 in red
Then make it smaller. When you open the chart, make it small before you capture it.
Are you sure that both indicators’ input series are the same?
Search jing in the forum to learn how to use it free the use it to post link to screenshot
If yours are different your using different indicators or settings or minute sizes
Ok, found the problem… in the settings for each indicator under “calculate on bar close” one was set to “true” the other was set to “false”. when i made them the same they now show the same number. just one more question then and that is what do u guys have yours set at…true or false? thanks again
