Using a different time frame

#1

Hi! So I finally took the time to watch boomerang videos and mvp elite. New to trading in general and am so fortunate to have found this website - just been trying to figure everything out so far. I have a question about time frames. My preference right now is Nadex. If I wanted to trade further out (i.e. place a trade earlier in the day, say around 9 or 10am, for the daily 4:15pm. prefer the pairs but willing to trade other instruments) what time frame should I be using on my charts. A lot of the videos show 4 minute time frame which I know is best for short term. But to place a trade for a longer time frame (nothing longer than a day) should I be using 60 min? or more or less.

Also, if I change the time frame is there anything else I would need to change as well? ie. bar width Would any specific indicators need adjustment (besides changing the time frame)? I am mainly referring to the ones uploaded by the toolkit - confluence, deviation, expected volume etc.

Thanks! and thanks for this website Darrell.
