I don’t know if it is related to the new toolkit or not, but it started when I downloaded and installed it. I start NT7 and connect to FXCM manually. As soon as connected to FXCM, NT7 locks up bad. I connected to the free Kinect historical data and no lockup. This tells me it may be an FXCM problem and not a toolkit problem. I uninstalled both NT7 and the toolkit, re-downloaded both and re-installed both. Nothing changed. Still locking up as soon as I connect to FXCM. Any ideas what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated.

Your loading old worskapces with old templates with old indicators
Close everything in fact delete all templates and worksapces
Make sure you have the Data - merge policy in -
Also for forex you HAVE to have a futures feed as we use the futures volume on expected volume which we use on every system on every chart.
In all cases you need futures - its free use the link under home start here
So 1 - close down all workspaces templates charts - ideally just delete old templates and workspaces as they have old indicators in them (we made MAJOR improvements)
2 - get a futures data feed free
3 - always open nt7 without auto connecting to data - and with a blank only workspace
4 always manually connect to futures first
5 then connect to forex
