Additional Powerful Setups

#1

The following setups are the basic Powerful Setups. They are some specific combinations of elements of order prints and indicators with a high rate of profit. They are easier for a beginner to master because you don’t have to learn everything about Power Plays. If all the elements are there, it is a valid setup.

1. Power sling or Power elevator: A sling or elevator that has a cluster as it is passing through a swing level.

What makes the best ones? A. The location of the cluster is “in front” of the swing level. B. A mm on the sling bar. C. Best ones are the ones immediately following after a power play. D. Actual swing dots marking levels make it stronger.
E. The body of the sling (not the wick) is going through the swing level. F. There is meeting or exceeding expected volume.

Here is a power elevator in a long trend:

A power sling with a mini magnet in a short trend:

Here is a good example of a Power Sling as it is breaking out of the chop box. If you missed the break out bar, then the next bar is a second entry point. The entry would be 1-3 ticks below the close of the sling bar.

This is a great power sling confirmed by Order Prints:

And another power sling confirmed by Order Prints with nearly the same setup. This is a very common occurance:

Here is a chart showing a lot of slings and what would qualify as a power sling and what does not.

BASE JUMPING SLINGS: When the price breaks a mini magnet and lays down a cluster and another mm, this is considered a base jump setup.

POWER REVERSAL: A reversal trade bouncing off a level that has a cluster. To qualify for a reversal, there must be at least 3 bars in the opposing direction. The cluster can be on the reversal bar itself or the bar just before the reversal bar. It must have either an Early Detection Hidden Divergence indicator (sometimes referred to as an Eddie) on the bar of the reversal OR an Order Print star (momentum) on the bar before the reversal bar. (The star may not be on the reversal bar itself.) In addition, it must have at least one of the following on the reversal bar itself: Apex pattern P OR Order Print X OR a Mini Magnet OR a Paw Print. Summary of Requirements for Power Reversal:

  1. Reversal bar with at least 3 bars in the opposing direction.
  2. A level within one bar of reversal bar.
  3. Cluster on the reversal bar or the previous bar.
  4. EDHD on the reversal bar itself OR star on the bar before the reversal bar. These must be on the designated bars.
  5. One of the following: P or X or mini magnet or paw print on the reversal bar itself.

The setup with confirmations does not get stopped out very often, but it is does get stopped out, it is often gathering more volume, look for the next valid entry in the same direction of the failed setup to work out well. The setups with very large OP total volume tend to go the farthest.

4. Reversal that has double or triple divergence with cluster and mm on reversal bar bouncing off a level . This means the level is above the price on a sell or below the price on a buy. The mini magnet is NOT optional in this setup, it is a key component and MUST be there. There must be at least 3 bars in the opposing direction of the reversal bar. This is to avoid a choppy setup. Expected volume should be meeting or exceeding the expected volume line.

In this screenshot the price had just previously dipped below the red ICE level and had the green Izone providing support. The price could not seem to remain under the red ICE line for long. If the price would have been under the red ICE for several hours, this would have been a trade that would have been less likely to work out.
